Warren Haney was raised as a child in Toronto by his aunt where she lived for many years. She had owned her Toronto condo since 1978 and once Warren moved to Australia he would fly back and forth to care for his aunt. In her later years, Warren's aunt developed dementia and Warren was her sole caretaker afar.
